Liftoff feature guide

Make room for a pause before deciding what comes next

Sometimes the useful next action is a pause rather than another productivity technique. Stress Reset offers a place to explore a breathing, tapping or listening practice at your own pace.

Liftoff Stress Reset brings together guided breathwork, EFT tapping and optional audio labelled Healing Frequencies in the app. These are self-guided wellbeing practices, not medical treatment, and they do not promise a particular physical or emotional result.

Choose the kind of pause that fits

Breathwork provides guided breathing patterns. EFT tapping combines gentle tapping with attention to what you are experiencing. The audio option provides tracks to listen to, including optional supporting audio during other practices.

You do not need to do every practice or force one that feels uncomfortable. Choose a quiet, safe setting where you can stop, adjust the sound or return to ordinary breathing. Do not practise while driving or doing something that needs your full attention.

Notice your experience without treating it as a medical result

The EFT workflow can ask for a self-reported distress rating before and after tapping. A change in that rating describes your report at those moments; it is not a clinical assessment or proof that a condition has been treated.

The in-app label “Healing Frequencies” names an audio option. It does not establish that a frequency heals disease, changes your biology in a particular way, or is right for everyone. Keep volume comfortable and stop if listening is unpleasant.

Know when a self-guided reset is not the right next step

Keep breathing comfortable rather than pushing for depth, speed or long holds. Stop if you become dizzy, short of breath, distressed or uncomfortable, and return to ordinary breathing. Ask a qualified clinician about practices if you have a health condition or are unsure what is suitable.

New, severe or concerning symptoms—such as chest pain, severe difficulty breathing or fainting—need appropriate medical help, not an app exercise. If you are in immediate danger or a crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services. Liftoff is not an emergency service.

Put it into practice

Before starting a session

A short preparation check can keep the choice grounded in your circumstances:

  1. Check that you are somewhere safe to pause and not driving.
  2. Choose one practice, or choose not to practise right now.
  3. Keep the breathing and sound comfortable; leave yourself free to stop.
  4. Afterwards, decide whether rest, a practical next step or outside support is most appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Is Stress Reset a medical or mental health treatment?

No. It offers self-guided wellbeing practices and does not diagnose or treat a condition. Seek qualified care when symptoms or distress need professional attention.

Do I need to use the audio?

No. Audio is an option, not a requirement to explore a pause. Use comfortable volume and stop any practice that feels unpleasant or unsuitable.

Can I start a session on this public page?

No. This page explains the feature. Sessions and personal ratings stay in the signed-in tool, subject to the account’s premium access and session allowance.
